Hey! Look behind, you see the ocean or a mountain range, well that’s more important for just the use for photography or the scenery, but it can actually be a leading force to decide how powerful your country or empire gets to be. Let me put it this way, we know that a player in the NBA is more likely to succeed if the player or the drafted player is at least 6’5, so he can shoot over defenders, block shots, and rebound, but not all players are gifted with this height, and we also have to acknowledge this 6’5 person can use his tallness for something else. What if he’s tall but doesn’t know how to use his tallness, he has to know how to take advantage of his tallness for him to have a chance to be a least an all-star player. Same goes for the geographic attributes a country or empire may have, the geography plays a big and important role for the success or even downfall of an empire or country, such as Ancient Rome and the United States, only if the empire to able to use the geographic attributes to their advantage. For example empires and countries use the rivers bring water to the country which can add additional support for the development of the country’s agriculture as well can be used as trade routes, and these trade routes can be utilized to conquer their enemies or other countries, expanding their territory. Mountains are also an essential geographic advantage to the country as they can as a barrier providing protection of the country. The climate can benefi the place, as it can infer with the agriculture status of the country. If the empire is placed under great geographic conditions that will make the empire strive, it will be a big advantage for the empire and will increase the chances of it becoming a powerful empire or country. Many geographic attributes provides advantages that helped Rome and the United States to rise and completely dominate their era by helping their economy, acting as defensive barriers against their enemies, and how they interacted with others.
